The post wasn't directed towards the school, but it was concerning enough for parents to alert deputies.

(Boone County, Ky.) – Another high school student from northern Kentucky has been charged with making a potentially threatening post on social media.
Boone County Sheriff’s deputies seized a weapon from a 15-year-old Boone County High School student after a threatening message was posted to Snapchat on Tuesday night, reports Local 12-WKRC.
Concerned parents notified deputies of the message that showed the boy with a weapon, asking if anyone had bullets. Deputies quickly tracked down the teen and seized the firearm.
The 15-year-old is charged with Disorderly Conduct and is currently in the custody of his father.
