Aurora Man Identified as Victim of Fatal Motorcycle Crash

The crash occurred on Tuesday night in Aurora

(Aurora, Ind.) - Dearborn County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 6400 block of Lower Dillsboro Road on Tuesday night for a serious crash involving a motorcycle. 

According to a news release, Ronald Billingsly was operating a 1997 Yamaha motorcycle when he struck a deer. 

Billingsly, 64, of Aurora, was transported to UC Medical Center, where he later passed away from injuries sustained in the crash. 

The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Aurora EMS, Lawrenceburg EMS, the Aurora Fire Department, Indiana State Police and the Aurora Police Department.
