Attic Fire Breaks Out in Bennington

Multiple agencies responded to the incident on Thursday morning.

(Bennington, Ind.) - Multiple agencies responded to a structure fire in Switzerland County on Thursday morning. 

The fire was reported at a home on Bradford Road in Bennington around 11:04 a.m.

Friendship Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the home for mutual aid with several departments in Switzerland County. According to FVFD, the home suffered significant damage resulting from an attic fire. 

Responding units provided manpower and tanker support. 

No injuries were reported. 

A cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
