Attempted Burglary Reported In Lawrenceburg

The incident happened Wednesday on Fairway Drive.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – An attempted burglary is under investigation in Lawrenceburg.

Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1500 block of Fairway Drive around 9:04 a.m. on Wednesday.

Deputies say a nearby resident witnessed a male subject trying to get into the garage of a residence. When confronted, the suspect got into a beat up 90’s model, cobalt blue Dodge Ram truck with an Ohio license plate and headed towards Georgetown Road.

The witness told deputies this wasn’t the first time the person had been at the residence.

The suspect is described as a 6’2” white male, approximately 300 pounds with dark hair, dark beard and green eyes. The man was wearing a cap at the time of the alleged burglary.
