The Dearborn County Sheriff's Office issued a press release on Wednesday.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - Dearborn County Sheriff's deputies conducted a wanted persons check at a residence on Salt Fork Road on Tuesday night.
Upon arrival, two individuals were located in a stationary, running vehicle near a densely wooded area. The passenger, Aaron Salyers, exited the vehicle and fled into the woods.
With the help of K9 Alita, Salyers was located and taken into custody without further incident.
According to the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office, Salyers had an active arrest warrant for probation violation and an additional charge of resisting law enforcement.
