Amazon Hiring Up To 5,900 In N. Ky.

(Hebron, Ky.) - Hundreds of new jobs are coming to northern Kentucky.

Amazon.com is expected to add 900 full-time, permanent workers this year at its distribution center in Hebron, Boone County Judge-Executive Gary Moore told The Kentucky Enquirer. What’s more, the online retail giant could hire as many as 5,000 seasonal workers for the holidays.

Job hunters can get information on applying with Amazon by calling 877-904-5627; ext. 036-LAC.

It’s welcome timing for the announcement of new jobs in Boone County. The move comes as Erlanger-based Comair prepares to shut down at the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport in September, affecting about 800 local employees.
