Air Care Called to Motorcycle vs. Dog Accident Near Friendship

(Friendship, Ind.) – One person was airlifted from the scene of a motorcycle accident on Tuesday afternoon.

Friendship Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the crash in the 6000 East block of County Road 550 South around 3:52 p.m.

Upon arrival, responders located a motorcycle that had struck a dog. As a result of the collision, the rider was thrown from the motorcycle.

The rider, who remains unidentified, was treated at the scene and airlifted to UC Medical Center with unknown injuries.

The status of the dog was not provided.

Friendship Volunteer Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department, Ripley County EMS, and PHI Air Medical Madison.
