Accused Impaired Driver Indicted For Fatal Sayler Park Crash

The crash on River Road claimed the life of a Green Township woman this past July.

(Sayler Park, Oh.) – An alleged impaired driver is facing charges after a crash that left a Green Township woman dead.

The Hamilton County Grand Jury indicted Joseph Bahlmann Wednesday on two counts of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide and Aggravated Vehicular Assault, report The Enquirer.

The charges stem from a July crash on River Road in Saylor Park where Bahlmann crashed into the driver’s side door of a vehicle driven by Elise Earley.

Earley, 23, and a St. Ursula graduate, sustained fatal injuries in the crash and her passenger, David Stewart, 25, had to be transported to UC Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.

Bahlmann was also seriously injured in the crash. Investigators say Bahlmann was under the influence of alcohol or drugs and was driving recklessly at the time of the crash.
