(Aurora, Ind.) - Cole Jenkins, 21 years old from Aurora, has just reached the halfway point in his bike ride across the nation.
Beginning in Seattle, WA with a New Jersey coast destination, Jenkins has just reached halfway in Nebraska.
So far, Jenkins has been on the road for over 28 days, traveling 1,930 miles. He has 1,771 miles to go.
The ride is in honor of America's 250th year, and Jenkins has been reaping the benefits of American hospitality and enjoying the landscape, including a recent stop at Mount Rushmore.
