2020 Metamora Canal Days Cancelled

Yet another popular event bites the dust.

(Metamora, Ind.) – Another popular fall festival has been cancelled.

Metamora Canal Days will not happen this October due to COVID-19 concerns. Event organizers announced the cancellation on Thursday.

The annual event brings thousands of shoppers to Metamora each year.

While Canal Day events will not take place, permanent shops and restaurants will remain open as usual.

Canal Days will return October 1-3, 2021.
