(Dillsboro, Ind.) - The 10th Annual Dillsboro Heritage Days will kick-off this weekend with the Historic Museum and Antiques and Crafts on the Lawn.
This year’s celebration will step back in time to 1911 when the famous artesian waters of the Dillsboro Sanitarium were discovered. The event will further explore this infamous health resort and later, extended care facility and its impact on the town.
Local businesses will be celebrating with specials and surprises.
Other events featured are the Veterans Walk, Heritage Car Show, Skirt Game, and Summer Concert. The event is co-sponsored by Dillsboro Heritage Legacy, Dillsboro Main Street and Dillsboro Civic Club.
- Historic Museum, Dillsboro Civic Center – Saturday, September 19 (9-5 PM) and Sunday, September 20 (11-4 PM)
- Antiques and Crafts on the Lawn – Greenspace at North & Front Streets Saturday, September 19 (9-2 PM)
- Skirt Game – Dillsboro Community Park, Saturday, September 19 (5-7 PM)
- Summer Concert featuring “School of Rock” - The Lawn, Saturday, September 19 (7-10 PM)
- Veterans Walk – next to Trinity Lutheran Church, September 17th-22nd
