Songwriter Sues Carrie Underwood Over Sunday Night Football Anthem 

We'll see you in court, Carrie.

(Nashville, TN)  --  A songwriter is suing Carrie Underwood over the superstar's theme song for Sunday Night Football. 

Heidi Merrill says the lyrics were lifted from a song that she submitted to Underwood's producer, Mark Bright. 

The lawsuit also names Bright and the NFL. 

It alleges copyright infringement.
