OK School Girl Gets Blake Shelton's Old Book

That's one way to get an autograph.

(Ada, OK)  --  An Oklahoma girl couldn't be happier about getting assigned Blake Shelton's old school book, but the girl's mom is less than thrilled.

Shelly Parker and her seven-year-old daughter, Marley, live in Shelton's hometown of Ada, Oklahoma. She posted a picture on Facebook of Marley holding up a textbook assigned to Blake Shelton in 1982.

Parker said her daughter is very excited about the book, but she's embarrassed because the book is nearly as old as she is.

Oklahoma is one of several states currently fighting for fully-funded education.
