Garth Brooks To Receive New Caring And Compassion Award

Garth has done a lot of good with his fame and fortune over the years.

(New York, NY)  --  Garth Brooks is being recognized for his generosity. 

He's receiving the inaugural George H.W. Bush Points of Light Award for Caring and Compassion. 

The global nonprofit, Point of Light, created the award to honor those who look for solutions to the world's toughest problems.  It was named after its late founder and the 41st president of the United States, George H.W. Bush. 

The ceremony will take place on September 26th in New York City.
