A sneak preview of the song will air on NBC on August 25.

(Foxborough, MA) -- Carrie Underwood is returning to Sunday Night Football.

She'll be back with a new version of "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night," featuring Joan Jett.

Sunday Night Football on NBC will debut September 8th when the New England Patriots take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at home.
