"American Idol" Auditions Heading To Louisiana

Season 17 auditions will begin taping soon.

(Shreveport, LA)  --  "American Idol" is taking its open-call auditions to Louisiana next week. 

The second installment of the reality show reboot is currently underway. Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Katy Perry will return as the superstar judges. 

Auditions are at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium on September 9th. 

No premiere date for Season 17 has been announced yet.
