ACM Honors Off-Camera Country Music Award Winners

The awards were handed out Wednesday.

(Nashville, TN)  --  Country music is shining the spotlight on artists who usually aren't in the spotlight.

The 12th Annual ACM Honors at Nashville's Ryman auditorium last night recognized award-winners who aren't on camera for the annual Academy of Country Music Awards on CBS each spring.

The sold-out crowd got a night of memorable performances by specialty award winners, including those in categories that recognize high achievers on the radio and touring side of country music.

Lauren Alaina and Joe Pardi hosted the program that saluted the music of longtime star Alan Jackson.  Jackson received the Cliffie Stone Icon Award at the end of the program.
