The 2019 Eagle Country 99.3 Lenten Fish Fry Tour is presented by Whitewater Motors in West Harrison, "The Most Trusted Name in the Car Business!" 

Tune-in to Eagle Country 99.3 every Thursday during Lent (March 7 through April 18) for your chance to win FREE fish fry tickets. You can also register online for more chances to win free fish dinner tickets.

Participating churches for the ticket giveaways include:

St. Lawrence Church in Lawrenceburg - St. Lawrence Fish Fry held the first five Fridays of Lent. Not serving on Good Friday. Come for a meal and fellowship in the St. Lawrence School gymnasium, 524 Walnut Street. Open 4:30-7:30 p.m. Fried or baked fish. Dine-in menu includes the Big Whaler Fish Dinner for $10 (8 oz. fish, choice of sides, dessert and drink); Little Whaler Fish Dinner for $7 (4 oz. fish, choice of sides, dessert and drink); and Cheese Pizza Dinner for $6 (cheese pizza, one side, desser and drink), or 4 oz. fish sandwich for $5. Slice of pizza $1.50. Sides and deserts $1 each a la carte. Sides include hush puppies, tater tots, mac-n-cheese, green beans, corn, applesauce. There are a variety of desserts to choose from. Drinks include iced tea, lemonade, or coffee. Carry-out available. You can call ahead for carry-out at (812) 537-3690.

St. Mary’s Church in Aurora - "Cod with God" on Fridays March 8, 22, 29, and April 5 from 4:30-7:30 p.m., and April 19 from 4:00-7:30. Dine in or carry out available in the school cafeteria. Drive-thru service on Main Street, weather permitting. Meal includes choice of cod tail, hand-dipped cod, baked cod or grilled cheese. Side items include macaroni and cheese, green beans, corn, french fries, pasta salad, cole slaw or apple sauce. Homemade deserts including St. Mary’s famous apple crisp! Drinks include lemonade, tea, coffee or water. Adults $12, seniors (60+) $10, children ages 6-10 $5, and ages five and under are free.

All Saints Parish St. Martin Campus in Yorkville - All Saints Parish will hold Lenten Fish Fries on the St. Martin Church Campus in Yorkville, on Fridays, March 8, 15, 22, 29, and April 5 and 12. Runs from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. each Friday. $10 for adults, $5 for children. Hand breaded fried cod or baked cod or cheese pizza. Sides include macaroni & cheese, french fries, coleslaw or applesauce, baked vegetarian beans, homemade pies & cakes, soft drinks, coffee & tea. Carry-out available.

Kreimer's Bier Haus Fish Fry Nites at Whitewater Crossing Christian Church in Cleves - March 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th & April 5th, 12th and 19th from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Enjoy Mark's famous fish and two sides, rye or white bread and drink. Adults $12, kids $6 (includes fish bites or chicken nuggets & fries). No alcohol. Dine-in and carry-out. 

VFW Duwel Post 7570 in Harrison - The Harrison VFW Post 7570, located at 9160 Lawrenceburg Road, will have a fish fry every Friday during Lent, March 8 through April 19. Open 4:30-7:00 p.m. each Friday. Dinners include cod or shrimp, two sides, french fries, mac & cheese, stewed tomatoes, or cole slaw. Cod or shrimp dinner is $10, cod sandwich for $7, child’s dinner $5, extra sides $1.50, and desserts $1. Carry out available.

 

INDIANA

 

Aurora – St. John Lutheran Church and School

A fish fry will be held Friday, March 15, 4:00-8:00 p.m., at the school at 222 Mechanic Street. The menu includes fried or baked cod, macaroni and cheese, green beans, coleslaw, hot dogs for kids, desserts, and drinks. Carry-out available by calling (812) 926-2656. 

 

Aurora – Aurora Fire Department

Aurora Fire Department will host a fish fry on Friday, April 12 from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the firehouse on Dutch Hollow Road. The menu includes fried or baked cod, green beans, mac 'n' cheese, corn, applesauce, fruit cocktail, desserts and drinks. All-you-can-eat for $12 per adult of $5 per child 12 and under. Hot dogs available for kids. Carry-out or delivery available for $10 per meal by calling (812) 926-1122.

 

Bright – St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross Church

Voted one of the best fish dinners in the area! The Knights of Columbus at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross present a fish fry on six Fridays during Lent. Serving from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Parish Community Center, 23345 Gavin Lane, in Bright. Dine-in or carryout. Your choice of breaded fried fish or baked fish or cheese pizza for the kids. The fillet is almost twice the size of a piece of bread. Sides include homemade, macaroni & cheese, homemade coleslaw, green beans, choice of breads and homemade desserts. Cost is $11 for adults or $7 for children ages 6-11, while kids 5 and under are free. Ninety-nine percent of proceeds benefit multiple charities within Indiana.

 

Brookville – Knights of Columbus Council 1010

Friday Fish Fries will be held at the Brookville Knights of Columbus Hall,  333 Main Street, on each Friday during Lent, except for Good Friday. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and serving continues until 7:30 p.m. The menu includes delicious fried fish and baked fish, french fries, baked potatoes, baked sweet potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, and desserts. Adults cost $10, children under 12 are $5, children under 6 are Free. Greensburg – Marion Twp. Volunteer Fire Department

Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department will hold three all-you-can-eat fish fries during Lent. The next fish dinner will be served on Friday, February 8, 22, March 8, 22, and April 5 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the fire house, 7935 S County Road 250 E in Greensburg. $10 per meal for adults. Menu includes whitefish, tenderloin, hot dogs, french fries, baked beans, applesauce, and a drink.

 

Lawrenceburg – St. Lawrence Church

Milan - Milan VFW Post 6234

Milan VFW Post 6234, 107 North Warpath Drive, will host a fish fry every Friday during Lent, March 8 through April 19. Runs 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. each Friday. All-you-can-eat for $9 per person. Dine-in or carry-out available. 

 

Oldenburg – Eagle Fire Company

Eagle Fire Company’s drive-thru Lenten Fish Fry will be held Friday, March 8 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the fire house at 3028 Pearl Street in Oldenburg. Menu includes fried cod, french fries, cole slaw and more.

 

Rising Sun – Rising Sun United Methodist Church

The B.O.B.B. Family Mission Team at the Rising Sun United Methodist Church, 110 S. Walnut Street, will hold a fish fry on March 8, March 22, and April 5 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Menu includes fish, chicken, mac and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, applesauce, bread, refreshments, homemade pies and cakes. Free-will offering. Carry-outs available. The BOBB Family Mission Team has sponsored a mission trip to John’s Island in South Carolina every year since 2003. “BOBB” stands for “Builders of Biblical Beliefs” and the members of the group spend time together laughing, crying, and growing closer as a family.

 

Sunman – St. Nicholas Parish Fish Fry

The St. Nicholas Parish Fish Fry, Baked Potato Bar, Salad Bar and Cake Walk will take place Friday, March 15 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Sunman American Legion. Free-will dinner includes fish sandwiches, salad bar, baked potatoes, baked sweet potatoes, many topping selections, drinks and desserts. Beer and soda available for purchase. Carry out available.

 

Sunman – Sunman Firemen’s Fish Dinner

The Sunman Firemen’s Fish Dinner will happen at the Sunman American Legion on Friday, March 8 from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. Breaded fish tail or baked cod are served as part of the buffet style dinner. Free will donation. Carry-out meals are available.

 

West Harrison – AmVets Post #15 Fish Dinner

AmVets Post 15, located at 515 South State Street in West Harrison, will hold a fish dinner on Friday, March 29 from 4:00 until 6:30 p.m. Cost is $10 per meal. Menu includes 8 oc. breaded cod, coleslaw, wedges, mac 'n' cheese or stewed tomatoes and dessert. Carry out is available by calling (812) 637-2024.

 

 

OHIO

 

Addyston – VFW Globe Trotters Post 6428

Stop in each Friday during Lent from 5:00 until 7:30 p.m. for a half-pound fried cod with choice of bread or barbecue beef. Each $10 dinner includes 1/2 pound of cod and two sides (mac ‘n’ cheese, stewed tomatoes, fries, or cole slaw). $7 for a BBQ dinner. Desserts are $1 each. Harrison – American Legion Yeager-Benson Post 199 Fish Fry

The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary at 10700 Campbell Road will hold a fish dinner each Friday during Lent, March 8 through April 19. It runs from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. each Friday. Each dinner includes an 8-ounce hand-battered cod sandwich, french fries, mac-and-cheese, and dessert. Cost is $9 per dinner. For more information, call (513) 367-9180.

 

Harrison – Harrison Kiwanis Club Fish Trailer

Stop by the fish fry trailer parked at FCN Bank on New Haven Road on Fridays March 8 through April 12. Open from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. each Friday. All food is carry-out. For $7, get a dinner that includes a fish sandwich, french fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw. Items are also available a la carte.

 

Shandon - St. Aloysius Church Fish Fry

A fish fry will be held each Friday, March 8 through April 5 from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. in the church basement. It is handicap accessible. Fried or baked fish, shrimp, cheese pizza, grilled cheese, baked potatoes, green beans, mac 'n' cheese, and a salad bar. Desserts and beverages available.  

 

 

KENTUCKY

 

Burlington – Immaculate Heart of Mary Church

Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, located at 5876 Veterans Way, holds a fish dinner Fridays during Lent, March 8 through April 12. Dine in 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. There are many meal options including fish, shrimp, crab cake, Tommy Boy, grilled cheese, cheese pizza, and more. Drive-thru is open 4:30 until 7:30 p.m.

 

Erlanger – Mary Queen of Heaven Parish

Fish dinners at Mary Queen of Heaven Parish on Fridays, March 8 through April 12 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Located at 1150 Donaldson Highway in Erlanger. Home of the Codfather! The Florence Elks Lodge hosts a fish dinner at 1130 Donaldson Highway every Friday during Lent, March 8 through April 19 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.
