Zach Gentile Breaks South Ripley Single-Season Goal Record

(Versailles, Ind.) - Zach Gentile is averaging a hat trick per match this season. 

In 11 matches, the South Ripley Raiders senior has netted 33 goals

On Wednesday, Gentile scored two goals in a win against Southwestern (Hanover), breaking the South Ripley single-season goal scoring record. 

Gentile's historic season has helped power the Raiders to an unbeaten season thus far. The Raiders are 9-0-2 overall and are currently in first place in the ORVC with a 5-0-2 record against conference opponents. 

South Ripley has a tough road ahead to capture an ORVC championship. 

The Raiders will take on Switzerland County (9-3) on Saturday. They also have conference games against Shawe Memorial, Milan, Rising Sun and Jac-Cen-Del.
