(Crestview Hills, Ky.) – Two Thomas More College baseball standouts with local ties have earned recognition from the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.
The PAC All-Conference Teams were announced on Tuesday.
Among the honorees were Saints pitcher Jordan Houze and center fielder Blaise Ostertag.
Houze, a former Lawrenceburg Tigers star, was named Second Team All-PAC. The freshman pitcher went 6-1 during the regular season with a 4.47 ERA over 56.1 innings.
Ostertag, a junior, made Honorable Mention All-PAC. The former Conner Cougars star hit .314 with five home runs and 29 RBIs during the regular season.
Thomas More (24-18, 13-4 in PAC) opens NCAA Division III Championship play on Thursday against top-seeded Webster. First pitch is scheduled for 2:15 ET at GCS Credit Union Ballpark in Sauget, Illinois.
