Switz. Co. Star Thomas Records 1,000th Career Point; Earns ORVC Weekly Honors

Girls basketball season is in full swing.

(Vevay, Ind.) – Aleiah Thomas eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau on her way to earning Ohio River Valley Conference weekly honors.

The ORVC report for the week of November 4-16 was released Tuesday.

Switzerland County Lady Pacers star Aleiah Thomas is the first ORVC Girls Basketball Player of the Week for the 2019-20 season.

Thomas accounted for 59 points, 18 rebounds and 11 assists in the first three games of the season. She also scored her 1,000^th career point against Henryville.

To date, Thomas is the ORVC’s leading scorer at 19.7 points per game.
