(Versailles, Ind.) – From Cross Plains, Indiana to Athens, Ohio.
South Ripley High School baseball star Brady Linkel will cross state lines to play collegiate Division I baseball.
Linkel signed his letter of intent on November 11 to continue his academic and athletic career at Ohio University.
The senior pitcher is one of seven signees for Ohio’s 2022 recruiting class.
Linkel is a strikeout pitcher, punching out 52 batters in 36.2 innings. His ERA over that span is 0.95. Linkel also tossed a perfect game as a freshman.
Aside from performing well on the baseball diamond, Linkel is a National Honor Society Member and a four-time Honor Roll member.
