(Versailles, Ind.) - The Boys Ripley County Basketball Tournament tipped off with a record-setting performance on Wednesday night.

South Ripley senior Cole Henry led South Ripley to a 75-47 first round win over Milan by breaking a school record that has stood for 47 years.

Henry passed Chris Smith to become the school's all-time leading rebounder with 550 career rebounds.

The Raiders' star also scored a game-high 21 points, moving closer to breaking the South Ripley all-time scoring record currently held by Cody Samples (1,429). Henry is now 138 points away from the record with 12 regular season games left to play.

He currently ranks in the top 5 in scoring in the ORVC at 23.0 points per game.

South Ripley is scheduled to host Batesville in the Ripley County Championship Game on Saturday night.
