South Dearborn's Hamlett Commits to USI

D-1 baseball is on the horizon.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Mason Hamlett will continue to wear navy and red at the Division I level. 

The South Dearborn High School senior announced his commitment to the University of Southern Indiana on Tuesday. 

Hamlett was an All-EIAC performer as a junior.

He had a conference-best 1.58 ERA, with 63 strikeouts in 44.1 innings pitched. Hamlett faced 195 batters during the 2025 season, surrendering only 10 earned runs.
