Six Earn ORVC Weekly Honors

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – Six student-athletes have earned weekly honors from the Ohio River Valley Conference.

The ORVC Report for September 9-14 was released on Tuesday.

Rising Sun’s Hillary Lambert was named the ORVC Girls Soccer Player of the Week after netting a hat trick against South Ripley.

The ORVC Boys Soccer Player of the Week is Cooper Todd. The Switzerland County senior scored seven goals and assisted on two goals in three matches.

Switzerland County’s Payton Stow earned Girls Golfer of the Week with two impressive rounds. Stow carded a 42 at Sugar Bay and a 45 at Butler Falls.

The ORVC Runners of the Week are Lucas Cooney (Milan) and Savannah Nussbaum (Southwestern).

Southwestern’s Allison Burchfield is the Volleyball Player of the Week.
