(Aurora, Ind.) - Rising Sun senior Brody Morris needed 17 points Tuesday night to reach 1,000 career points.
He scored 18 in a 66-40 loss to Switzerland County in the Rivertown Classic consolation game.
For Morris, his 17th and 18th points of the night were not easy to come by. After missing a string of three-point attempts and two free throws, which he rarely misses - Morris got a mid-range jumper to fall reaching the career milestone.
"I always look up on the wall and see all those names and I want to be up there," said Morris during a Crunch Time appearance prior to the start of the season.
Morris and his coach, Brandon Snodgrass, joined Eagle Country 99.3 on press row from the Rivertown Classic on Tuesday. Hear their interview with Double T, plus their radio call of Morris' milestone moment in the audio player below.
