Seven Earn Academic All-State Honors from ICGSA

To be eligible, student-athletes have to have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

(Southeast Indiana) - Seven student-athletes have earned recognition for their excellence in the classroom. 

The Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association (ICGSA) recently announced their 2024-25 Academic All-State Basketball Teams. 

To be eligible for recognition, the athlete must be a senior participating in an IHSAA girls' sport, have a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent, and have a minimum SAT of 1110 or a minimum ACT composite score of 24. 

The athlete must also be a varsity participant in a minimum of 50 percent of the contests in an IHSAA sport. 

Local ISGSA Academic All-State Team Selections: 

  • Anna Black, East Central
  • Isabel Pearson, South Dearborn

Honorable Mention:

  • Madesyn Sunderhaus, Franklin County
  • Tiffany Billman, Franklin County
  • Bailey Kaiser, Franklin County
  • Hillary Lambert, Rising Sun
  • Alexa Franklin, South Ripley
