SD's Hughes Commits To Play Soccer At Kentucky Christian University

Hughes has the height of a center back, but stars offensively as a right winger.

(Aurora, Ind.) – Tanner Hughes is a four-sport athlete at South Dearborn High School, but soccer will be the sport he focuses on at the collegiate level.

Hughes will continue his academic and athletic career at Kentucky Christian University after signing his letter of intent this week. 

As a right winger, Hughes accounted for 15 goals in 2020, finding the back of the net seven times and assisting on eight goals.

He played four years of varsity soccer and was eventually named team captain.

During his time at SDHS, Hughes also played basketball, golf, and currently runs track.

He plans to study History Education at KCU.
