SD's Chase Emmert Commits To Wrestle At Thomas More

Emmert will compete at the IHSAA Semi-State at New Castle on Saturday.

Front Row – (Sister) Kennedy, (Father) Dan, Chase and (Mother) Michelle Emmert(Aurora, Ind.) – One of South Dearborn High School’s top wrestlers will grapple at the collegiate level.

Chase Emmert recently signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Thomas More University.

Emmert is a four-year member of the SDHS wrestling team and has dedicated more than 10 years to the sport.

He will compete at the IHSAA Semi-State at New Castle on Saturday in the 220-pound weight class.

Emmert (19-16) will take on South Vermillion’s Joey Shaw (20-1) in the first round.
