The weekly award is given by the Indianapolis Star.

(Aurora, Ind.) – One of the top high school basketball players in southeast Indiana is up for a statewide award.
South Dearborn Lady Knights junior Kyrstin Bond is among 10 girls up for the Indy Star Girls Basketball Performer of the Week award.
The award is based on last week’s performances, where Bond helped her team to two wins over Rising Sun and Taylor. Bond was terrific in both games, putting up 24 points against Rising Sun and 22 points and 14 rebounds versus Taylor.
The Lady Knights star is averaging 16.4 points per game through 11 games this season.
