(Aurora, IN) - The St. Lawrence cross country team traveled to Moores Hill for the South Dearborn Invitational on Saturday.
8th grader Sam Dennis set a course record with his time of 10:38. He will be competing at state in the varsity Boys Small School. Dennis is currently ranked 20th in the state.
James Pursell finished third at the meet. Hayes Block finished eight as a fifth grader. The boys team finished second.
Five of the Lady Panthers are also heading to state. They had a combined time of 70 minutes. At the Sout Dearborn Invitational three girls placed in the top ten. They all ran personal record times.
Nora Block finished fifth, Beckett Wagner finished ninth, and Shelby Lahey finished in tenth.
