(Rising Sun, Ind.) - A Rising Sun High School baseball star will be heading north to play collegiately.
Jonathan Jimenez recently signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.
Jimenez stars for Rising Sun as a shortstop, pitcher and outfielder.
As a junior, Jimenez hit .397 with 5 doubles and 13 RBIs. On the mound, he went 5-2 with a 2.97 ERA, striking out 47 batters in 40 innings pitched.
Jimenez was an All-ORVC selection.
