Rising Sun Basketball Coach Resigns

The school has begun its search for a replacement.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – The Rising Sun High School boys basketball program is looking for a new varsity head coach.

 

According to Rising Sun-Ohio County Community School Corporation Superintendent Brandon Roeder, Chris Jones turned in his letter of resignation on Tuesday.

 

Roeder says Jones has accepted an offer to become the new assistant principal at Princeton High School near Evansville.

 

Jones coached for five seasons at Rising Sun, tallying a 41-79 record in that time.

 

A search for a new varsity head coach is underway.
