(Aurora, Ind.) – Make it two in a row for Ben Riehle.
The recent Milan High School grad took first place at the Knight Flight 5K on Saturday. Riehle, 18, finished the race in 16:41. This is his second consecutive SIRC win after taking first at the Trojan Trot 5K a week prior.
Bradyn Hatton, 17, of Lawrenceburg, and Bryan Wagner, 40, of Lawrenceburg rounded out the top three with times of 17:08 and 17:21, respectively.
The top female performer was Kayla Hess. The 22-year-old from Cincinnati placed 17th overall with a time of 20:28.
Kim Johnston, 53, of College Corner, and Hannah Morgan, 22, of Lawrenceburg, rounded out the top three female placers at 20th and 22nd, respectively.
The next race is the Lakeside 5K in Brookville. The race takes place Saturday, July 27 at 8:30 a.m.
