ORVC Names Top Performers for April 13-18

Eight earned weekly honors, while several others were recognized.

(Osgood, Ind.) - Eight student-athletes have earned weekly honors from the Ohio River Valley Conference. 

The ORVC Report for April 13-18 was released on Tuesday. 

Jac-Cen-Del's Neil Sullivan and Milan's Tommy Poole were named the ORVC Baseball Players of the Week. 

At the dish, Sullivan collected three hits, three runs, and two RBI in three games. He also tossed 6.2 innings, allowing two runs with 16 strikeouts in a win. Poole earned weekly honors by totaling four hits, four runs, three RBI and a stolen base in two games. He also pitched 5.1 innings, allowing four hits and two earned runs, while striking out six in a win. 

The ORVC Softball Player of the Week is Kynadee Bode. The Milan Indians' star tossed a five-inning no-hitter against Switzerland County. She also hit a home run and a double and knocked in three runs in two games. 

Jac-Cen-Del's Caden Kohlman is the ORVC Boys Golfer of the Week. Kohlman carded a 38 at Wyaloosing and a 48 at Shadowood. 

The ORVC Track and Field Top Performers of the Week are Mason Bascom (South Ripley), Grayson Levell (Switzerland County), Savannah Nussbaum (Southwestern), and Addy Preston (Switzerland County).
