Noah Knigga Verbally Commits to Eastern Michigan

Another SEI star is heading to the MAC.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Many D-1 schools have expressed interest but only one can land the services of Noah Knigga.

The three-star linebacker from Lawrenceburg announced his verbal commitment to Eastern Michigan University on Friday.

Knigga chose Eastern Michigan over West Virginia and Arkansas State, according to On3's Hayes Fawcett.

The Tigers' star was a Class 3A Junior All-State selection in 2023.

After dealing with an early season hamstring injury, Knigga totaled 51 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, two sacks and two caused fumbles in only six games.

Ahead of his senior season, Knigga was namedto the Indiana Football Digest Prime Time 25 list, as one of the best players in the state.

Knigga is the third local product in recent memory to commit to a MAC school. East Central's Josh Ringer and Ryan Brotherton  will be a freshman this fsll at Miami (Oh.) and Western Michigan, respectively.
