NKU's Megan Cole Earns Second Team All-Horizon at Conference Meet

(Highland Heights, Ky.) – A Versailles native and South Ripley High School graduate is still running strong at the collegiate level.

Megan Cole placed 12th at the 2022 Horizon League Championship on October 29 at Oakland Cross Country Course in Rochester, Michigan.

Cole, a senior at NKU, was the highest-placed female Norse, helping her team to a seventh-place finish. For placing in the top 14 overall, Cole was named Second Team All-Horizon.

Her final time at the conference championship was 22:29.

The Norse will head to Louisville for the NCAA Southeast Regionals on Friday, November 11 at Tom Sawyer State Park.

The women’s race will begin at 11:00 a.m. ET.
