(Milan, Ind.) - More football is in the future for Landon Stanley.

The Milan High School senior recently signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Mount St. Joseph University.

Stanley, a 6'0" 250 pound offensive and defensive lineman, is a two-time IFCA All-State selection. He was named to the IFCA 1A Senior All-State Team this last fall, and the 1A Junior All-State Team the previous year.

This past season, Stanley anchored a Milan offense line that paved the way for 2,450 rushing yards. Stanley was recently named an IFCA Region 10 All-Star, which makes him eligible to be selected to play in the annual North/South All-Star Game this summer.

Stanley is also a star performer in the classroom. He was named to the IFCA Academic All-State Team last month. To be considered for the honor, a minimum GPA of 3.40 on a 4.0 scale and a minimum SAT of 1660 or minimum ACT of 24 is required.
