Milan's Eaglin Named Indiana MaxPreps High School Athlete of the Week

The award is decided by a fan vote.

Mallory Eaglin has been named an Indiana MaxPreps High School Athlete of the Week. 

Eaglin, a junior softball star at Milan High School, earned the nomination for going over 100 career hits when she went 3-for-3 in a 9-8 win over Fairview. 

She won the award along with Hamilton Southeastern lacrosse star David Gould. Weekly winners are decided by a fan vote. This past week, over 65,000 votes were cast. 

To date, Eaglin has 106 career hits (.484 AVG.) with 13 home runs and 87 runs batted in. This season, Eaglin is hitting .531 with two home runs and 20 RBI.

(Milan, Ind.) - Mallory Eaglin is not a batter pitchers want to face. 

The Milan junior is batting .652 this season with 19 RBI, which leads the state of Indiana. 

Eaglin went over 100 career hits when she went 3-for-3 in a 9-8 win over Fairview. She currently has 104 career hits with 86 RBI, 21 doubles, and 13 home runs.
