Milan, Switzerland Co. Stars Highlight ORVC Weekly Report

Peyton Wert, Cionna Bailey and Damian Breeck were among last week's award winners.

(Milan, Ind.) – Four local basketball stars have earned weekly honors from the Ohio River Valley Conference.

The ORVC report for the week of December 9-14 was released on Tuesday.

Milan guard Peyton Wert and Switzerland County guard Damian Breeck were named the ORVC Boys Basketball Players of the Week.

Wert averaged 12.5 points, 9.5 assists and 8.0 rebounds in two games. For Breeck, he averaged 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists over two games last week.

Milan’s Cionna Bailey and Southwestern’s Ellie Foley are the ORVC Girls Basketball Players of the Week.

Bailey had 31 points and 20 rebounds against Southwestern. Foley totaled 51 points, 15 rebounds and 14 assists in three games.
