Milan HS Swimmer Featured on TV as Student Athlete of the Week

Dylan Thomas has his sight set on another State Finals appearance this swim season.

(Milan, Ind.) - Milan High School's Dylan Thomas was featured last night on Local 12 Sports for being the Student Athlete of the Week.

Thomas has worked very hard throughout his swimming career at Milan HS. He has set many school records for Milan this year and in the past in the following events: 200 IM, 100 Backstroke, 500 Freestyle, and as a member of the 200 Medley Relay team.

Thomas hopes to break another record during sectionals this year and qualify for state once again. He qualified for state the past two years.

Throughout swimming season this year, Thomas has participated in numerous other activities including church, school, and local opportunities. He has shown what being an involved student athlete is and that hard work pays off.

Sectionals for the Milan Indians Boys team start on February 15 at Columbus North HS.
