The University of Michigan junior won a freestyle championship at 275 pounds at the USA Wrestling 2020 Senior National Championships on Sunday.

Parris went 5-0 at the event, defeating Arizona State’s Tanner Hall in the championship round.

As a sophomore, Parris went 28-1. His only loss came in the Big 10 Tournament Final to No. 1 Gable Steveson of Minnesota.
