Mason Parris Wins Heavyweight Title At Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational

The Lawrenceburg native continues to do big things at the University of Michigan.

(Las Vegas, Nev.) - Another meet, another accolade for Mason Parris. 

The University of Michigan heavyweight added another piece of hardware to his trophy case, winning the heavyweight title at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational on Saturday. 

Parris, a sophomore captain, went 5-0 at the tournament. 

In the championship match, Parris used two first-period takedowns and 1:30 riding time to defeat Arizona State's 6th ranked Tanner Hall. 

Parris is currently ranked second nationally by InterMat. He is 15-0 this season.
