Longtime Lawrenceburg Soccer Coach Reaches 300 Wins

The 300th win came in dramatic fashion.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - It was a historic night at 'The Pit' on Thursday. 

Lawrenceburg's boys soccer team hosted East Central in what turned out to be an instant classic match on the soccer pitch. After a hard fought 80 minutes and overtime period, including 50 minutes playing a man down, the Tigers defeated East Central in a shootout (4-3). 

The victory game head coach DeWayne Uhlman his 300th career victory. 

Uhlman is now in his 29th season leading the program. 

In that time span, he has led the Tigers to 13 sectional championships, and two regional titles.
