Rising Sun boys and Milan girls celebrated soccer wins on senior night Wednesday.

BOYS SOCCER

Rising Sun 8, Milan 0 – Rising Sun romped over Milan on senior night thanks in part to Landon Cole kicking two goals and making two assists. Jake Bovard had a pair of goals and one assist. Also scoring for Rising Sun were James Bounds, Brayden Bush, Brent Webb, and Kendall Montgomery. Shiners keeper Jordan Parsons made six saves.

South Ripley 3, Switzerland County 1 – Raiders players scoring included Dillon Binion, Lukasz Leszczynki, and Sam Evans. Beni Mitschke had two assists and Zach Gentile added another. Cory Ralston made five saves in the goal.

 

GIRLS SOCCER

East Central 2, Columbus North 1 – Eva Grimm and Maya Heilmayer scored for the Trojans. Both goals were assisted by Jenna Ohmer. Goalies Jessica Shipman and Mary Brewington combined to make 13 saves.

South Dearborn 5, Connersville 1

Batesville 4, Franklin County 0 – Batesville’s Carlie Werner knocked in three goals.

Milan 2, Southwestern 1 – Milan earned a win on senior night. Lily Phelps had a goal for the Indians.

Switzerland County 2, South Ripley 2 tie
