BOYS SOCCER

East Central 9, Rushville 2 – EC ran away with it thanks to two goals a piece from Cole Norma and Jared Tiemann. Other Trojans kicking one in included Eric Puterbaugh, Adam Lyness, Evan Spangler, Jacob Weber and Kameron Siebert.

Rising Sun 7, Shawe Memorial 0 – Jake Bovard recorded a three-goal hat trick for Rising Sun. Zac Brokaw had 2 goals. Nick Koons and Peyton Bell each added a score. Brayden Bush had 2 assists.

Jac-Cen-Del 2, Milan 1 – Jacob Jines scored twice for JCD. Goalkeeper Adrian Peetz allowed one goal, but had five saves to help JCD earn the win.

South Ripley 1, Southwestern 1 tie – Dillon Binion had the goal for South Ripley. Raiders keepers Cory Ralston impressed with 11 saves in the game.

East Central 11, Rushville 0 – Paige Carpenter and Sophie Browndyke both scored twice for EC. Single goals were kicked by Taylor Whitehead, Eva Grimm, Mackenzie Hogg, Taylor Hall, Alexia McKrancy, and Mackenzie Vignale.

Batesville 1, Cathedral 0 – Georgia Gratz scored Batesville’s goal in the first half. Goalie Ellie Waechter made five saves.

Milan 2, Switzerland County 0 – Lilly Phelps knocked in both goals for Milan.

Lawrenceburg 3, Rushville 0 – 25-14, 25-11, 25-15 – Lawrenceburg freshman Cora Taylor was awesome with 9 kills, 2 aces, 6 digs and a block. Grace Taylor made 28 assists, 4 digs, 6 kills, and 3 aces. McKenna Lorton had 8 kills, 2 aces, 3 digs, and a block.

Greensburg 3, South Dearborn 0 – 25-9, 25-20, 25-7 – SD’s Allyson Kunkel, Jaelyn Lows and Emily Elliott each had 4 kills.

Connersville 3, Franklin County 0 – 27-25, 25-18, 25-15

Rising Sun 3, New Washington 0 – 28-26, 25-15, 25-18 – Rising Sun’s Danyka Groover starred with 14 kills and 4 blocks. Kassidy Romans tallied 10 digs and an ace.
