BOYS TENNIS

Columbus North Invitational

The Bulldogs finished in 3rd of three teams at the Columbus North Invitational on Saturday. The Boys Tennis Team faced off against the Providence Pioneers in their 1st round matchup and lost 1-4. The #2 doubles team ofAlec Bunselmeier & Sam Johnson picked up the lone point for the Bulldogs and advanced as a doubles team to 8-0 on the year. Jaden Smith suffered his first loss of the season and is now 7-1 individually. IT was a hard fought match at every position. Cael Rahe @ 1 Singles & The 1 doubles team of Cole Pride & Jackson Tracy all won their first set but ultimately lost in 3 sets. Batesville Record: 6-2 (2-1 in EIAC)

Next up, the #2 ranked Columbus North Bulldogs. In Batesville's round 2 matchup we battled against some stiff competition. We lost by a score of 0-5 but the boys fought hard, played with a lot of pace, and a lot more loosely than normal. We fall to 6-3 on the year and will face off with conference rival East Central on Monday.
