Local Sports Report - October 12, 2021

The IHSAA Volleyball State Tournament got underway on Tuesday.

VOLLEYBALL

Class 3A Sectional 29 at Batesville - First Round

Greensburg 3, Franklin County 0 (25-10, 25-7, 25-12) - The Pirates will play Batesville in the semifinals on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Franklin County ends the season 4-27. 

 

Class 2A Sectional 44 at South Ripley - First Round

North Decatur 3, Milan 0 (25-8, 25-19, 25-15) - The Chargers move on to play South Decatur in the semifinals. Milan ends the season 2-12.

 

Class 1A Sectional 62 at Trinity Lutheran - First Round 

Rising Sun 3, Medora 0 (25-13, 25-11, 25-8) - The Shiners will play West Washington in the semifinals on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
