Franklin County, Greensburg, and Oldenburg Academy were among the teams to advance in the boys basketball sectional on Wed.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Class 3A Sectional 29 at Connersville - First Round

Greensburg 39, Connersville 33 - The Pirates outscored Connersville 19-5 in the fourth quarter to complete an 11-point come from behind win. 

  • Colin Comer (GB): 23 points. 

Franklin County 33, Batesville 25

*Greensburg and Franklin County will meet in the semifinals on Friday at 7:30 p.m. South Dearborn and Lawrenceburg will play game one at 6:00 p.m.

 

Class 1A Sectional 60 at Southwestern (Shelbyville) - First Round

Hauser 56, Morristown 45

Oldenburg Academy 56, Southwestern (Shelbyville) 46

*Oldenburg Academy will play Hauser in the semifinals on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Jac-Cen-Del and Waldron will play game one at 6:00.
