IHSAA 3A Sectional 29 at Greensburg – First Round

Rushville 51, Lawrenceburg 44 – Eagle Country 99.3 Feature Game – Lawrenceburg was down 17 points at one time in the 3rd quarter, but fought back to get within three points. However, the Lions buckled down and survived the Tigers’ threat with eight three pointers in the game. LHS’ Gavin Yoon played spectacularly with 31 points and 5 rebounds. Kamar Chenault added 6 points. Lawrenceburg’s season ends with a 7-17 record.

Batesville 55, Franklin County 37 – Batesville (13-10) will meet Rushville (9-14) in the sectional semi-final round on Friday, March 1.

 

IHSAA 1A Sectional 60 at Southwestern (Shelbyville) – First Round

Oldenburg Academy 60, Jac-Cen-Del 50 – Jac-Cen-Del freshman Wyatt Day had a team-high 14 points while Brandon Baber and Justin Ohlmansiek each scored 11. Oldenburg (16-5) will play Hauser in the sectional semifinals on Friday, March 1. Jac-Cen-Del’s season ends with a 13-11 record.
